Roots, Rock, Run 5K in Newark Results and Pics
“Let’s get together and feel alright” is the slogan for GrassROOTS Community Foundation’s 1st Roots, Rock, Run 5K in Newark, New Jersey, on October 1, 2016. Despite the inclement weather, the race had over 150 runners and walkers at Weequahic Park in the city’s South Ward. The energy of the largely Black audience was electric.
