In your role, you will work with girls to increase their body confidence and to provide scientifically accurate information about their development and well-being. As a coach, you will also work closely with the girls, their families, and the community to execute social action work in their community. In addition, the coach will collaborate with their fellow coaches as well as with The GrassROOTS team President, Program, Partnership and Research Team.
In your role as Physical Health Wellness Coach will be responsible for facilitating health and wellness workshops and for helping youth achieve the highest level of wellness. You will support girls in eating well by increasing their intake of food and vegetables and reducing their intake of excessive artificial sugar and processed foods; you will also participate and encourage their ongoing and daily movement and physical activity. As a Physical Health Coach, you are an ambassador who will work closely with the girls, their families, and the community to execute social action work in their community. In addition, the coach will collaborate with their fellow coaches as well as with The GrassROOTS team President, Program, Partnership and Research Team.
In this role as Mental Health Wellness Coach, you will be responsible for facilitating group conversations with girls. Additionally, you will support girls’ confidence and self-efficacy, teach ally-building skills, facilitate group and individual connections as well as help girls access resources that improve their life chances. Moreover, you will work closely with the girls, their families, and the community to execute social action work in their community. All coaches will collaborate with their fellow coaches as well as with The GrassROOTS team President, Program, Partnership and Research Team.
Economics of Health Coach will be responsible for facilitating health and wellness workshops and for helping youth achieve the highest level of wellness. More specifically, the coach will inform and support girls’ understanding of the key social and environmental factors that influence their wellbeing, introduce them with the interconnections between the economic environment and their health behavior and status. As a coach, you will also work closely with the girls, their families, and the community to execute social action work in their community. In addition, the coach will collaborate with their fellow coaches as well as with The GrassROOTS team President, Program, Partnership and Research Team.
