Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter, of the Grammy Award-winning group The Roots, has partnered with MOSCOT, an iconic New York-based eyewear brand, to create black tortoise GRUNYA frames. One hundred percent of proceeds from this charitable collaboration will go to Trotter’sGrassROOTS Community Foundation and The MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation.
MOSCOT and Trotter have designed 300 Special, Limited Edition Black Tortoise GRUNYAframes, which are numbered for authenticity and stamped in gold with Trotter’s signature. The frames are based on the MOSCOT Original, The GRUNYA, and “boasts double laminate combination black tortoise acetate, and brown glass gradient sun Lenses with an anti-reflective backside for reduced glare,” according to a press release.
