African and African-American communities have a deeply rooted philanthropic culture, and this tradition extends to Black Greek-letter organizations. This tradition is grounded in the idea that “strangers” become family and community members. This year, we received unprecedented support from members of Greek organizations. We honor them and this tradition with the limited-edition Greek Hoddie series, representing the Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta and Alpha Kappa Alpha.
Mona Scott-Young is the undisputed champion of the GrassROOTS Turkey Challenge beating board members, Lisa Maxwell and Dr. Janice Johnson. But the real winners are the hundreds of families who received healthy meals this holiday season.
