Quantitative Public Health Data Literacy Training – Video

This summer GrassROOTS Community Foundation and New York University School of Global Public Health collaborated on a free 4-week quantitative public health data literacy bootcamp for high school and undergraduate students. The course introduces students to R (available free) and Stata (free 1-month licenses provided to participants).

Twenty-six national and international scholars of color whose work employs quantitative methodology welcomed the students to the course.

This welcome video highlights these scholars and makes the case for why quantitative data literacy is necessary for increasing public health and health equity.
