Roots, Rock, Run 5k is a GrassROOTS Community Foundation community engagement activity. On June 4th, GrassROOTS in collaboration with our Chairman of the Board Tarik “Black Thought” Trotter of the The Roots and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will lead a community 5k walk/run.
Join GrassROOTS' SuperCampers for a lunch and learn and panel discussion from women leaders. Panelist will provide guests with a basic understanding of politics from their perspective.

On Sunday, September 18th the GrassROOTS Community Foundation in collaboration with the City of Newark presents Back-to-School Fun Run led by Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka. Youth and their families across the city will meet at the foot of Newark City Hall 920 Broad Street at 9am to run to Military Park and back.
