Join GrassROOTS President, Dr. Janice Johnson Dias in Philadelphia and New Jersey for conversations of health equity and undoing racism.
The Health Justice Summit will bring together community advocates, organizations, faith leaders and professionals in the fields of health, nutrition & fitness, to address some of the issues of systemic injustice that negatively impact the health of our communities.
Montclair, New Jersey: March 18th
Dr. Johnson Dias will present on how institutional racism and economic inequality create and sustain unhealthy and unsafe environments. Dr. Johnson Dias and Ms. Brabson will weave music into messages about what individuals can do to collaborate and disrupt these systems and lessen the effects of violence on women and girls.
