Back-to-School Fun Run

On Sunday, September 18th the GrassROOTS Community Foundation in collaboration with the City of Newark presents a Back-to-School Fun Run led by Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka.
Youth and their families across the city will meet at the foot of Newark City Hall 920 Broad Street at 9am to run to Military Park and back.
There will be prizes for youth, and as with all GrassROOTS programs we will have a dance contest. Music will be provided by DJ Scotty Nevers. It’s free and open to all. No registration required. Show up and have some fun.
