Before the Give Thanks for Girls Benefit Gala join Black Girl Excellence Award Honorees Marsai Martin, Haile Thomas, and Mikaila Ulmer and their parents for an intimate conversation with girls about how to unlock and support girls’ passions to help them achieve success.
Girls plenary moderated by Marley Dias, author and founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks
Caregivers plenary moderated by Icema Gibbs, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, JetBlue
Participants will be able to ask to questions of the national honorees and their parents to get the answers they need to help them achieve their individual goals.
An adult caregiver must accompany each girl. This person does not have to be a bio-parent. Each girl, however, should bring a caring adult who is invested in her personal well-being and success.
