2016 Roots Rock Run 5K-Newark

Race Purpose: 5K community walk/run and 1-mile walk to support GrassROOTS Community Foundation wellnesss programs in Essex County and the City of Newark.
Led by Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Tarik “Black Thought” Trotter of the Roots and Dupre “DoItAll” Kelly of 211 Community Impact and Lords of the Underground
Location: Weequahic Park Track, 1 Thomas Carmichael Dr., Newark, NJ
Entry: Pre-registration at brynmawracing.com. Free until 9/22. Free for all Essex County youth 18 and under.
