Roots, Rock, Run Fun Run

On Sunday, September 25th the GrassROOTS Community Foundation in collaboration with the Newark YMCA presents a Fun Run led by Lisa Morgan, Newark Hall of Famer, Team USA World Junior Championship Coach.
Youth and their families across the city will meet at the Newark YMCA at 9am to run to Military Park and back.
There will be prizes for youth, and as with all GrassROOTS programs we will have a dance contest. It’s free and open to all. No registration required. Show up and have some fun.
Other activities include free hair braiding for school-age girls. Come early. We are open from 9-11am. Any questions: tmalcolm@
